Modemädchen aufgepasst – there’s a new App in town! Ich muss zugeben: Bei mir persönlich ist die große Zeit der reinen Streetstyle-Blogs vorbei. Während ich noch vor ein paar Jahren fanatisch jeden Post vom Sartorialist verfolgt habe, ist mir das mittlerweile fast schon zu aufwändig. Wenn ich Blogs am Rechner lese, dann sind das die von spannenden Persönlichkeiten, welche mit echtem Mehrwert, solche, die Geschichten erzählen.Dennoch ist meine Lust aufs Outfit-Spotting nicht versiegt, im Gegenteil – das Ganze hat sich lediglich verschoben. Auf Instagram zum Beispiel, wo ich nach wie vor gerne Looks teile und vor allem sehe. Als mich jetzt also vor ein paar Monaten Sarah anschrieb, weil die Janes einer neuen App auf die Welt helfen wollten, war ich sofort im Boot. Die Idee gefällt mir nämlich so gut, dass ich tatsächlich daran glaube.

Tinder für Outfits: Die AMAZE App

Outfits swipen, so wie noch vor ein paar Monaten Tinder-Profile? Genau so soll die AMAZE App funktionieren. Blogger laden ihre Outfits hoch, und alle App Nutzer können diese dann durch schlichtes Wischen „liken und speichern“ oder „weiterschieben“. Dabei sind die Outfits weniger aufwändig dargestellt als in üblichen Outfitposts – ein Bild muss genügen um zwischen YAY und NAY zu entscheiden. Gespeicherte Outfits können dann ganz einfach in der App nachgekauft werden.

Und seit heute ist es soweit: Die AMAZE App steht im App Store zum kostenlosen Download bereit! Mich findet ihr dort unter Helle Flecken (Mobile-Link!) – ich freue mich, wenn ihr mal vorbeischaut, und außerdem freue ich mich jetzt schon auf langweilige S-Bahn-Fahrten, auf denen ich jetzt Outfits statt Männergesichter swipen kann. Da kann mir dann auch keiner mehr Oberflächlichkeit vorwerfen.

Fashionistas – there’s a new app in town! I have to admit: For me, personally, the time of simple street style blogs is over. While a few years ago I went after every single street style post of The Sartorialist, by now I much prefer personal style blogs, blogs written by exciting personalities and telling real stories instead of only showcasing a glimpse of a persons style. This development hasn’t changed anything about my lust for style-spotting, though – it has just shifted from blogs to Instagram, where I still love to share and scroll through looks and outfits. So when a few months ago, Sarah told me the Jane Waynes where helping a new style app to succeed, I was all in immediately. Because I’m really convinced by the idea.

This is AMAZE – be inspired everywhere

The basic principle behind the AMAZE App is the same as with Tinder: Swipe, like or dismiss. You can find inspiration by the outfits of European bloggers, save the looks you like and then, if you want, even shop their looks directly in the app. All easy, all quick. And possibly my new substitute for constantly swiping Tinder on boring train rides, which I decided to ditch a while ago.
