Outfit: Spring has sprung! Farblicher Wegweiser für den Frühling

Lisa Mattis Longbob

Some of you might have noticed that a few weeks ago, I started captioning my pictures on instagram in English. I mainly did this because whenever traveling – which makes up about 50% of my life – I spend a good part of my day talking in English, being surrounded by Internationals, and therefore the words that pop up whenever I want to comment on something are almost always in English.
Also, a nice little part of my readership is from outside of Germany – and some of my closest people are English-speaking. Add that to the fact that despite speaking a lot of English all the time, my writing really suffered since I left school. And I really wanna change that again.

So from now on whenever I have the time, you’ll find at least a condensed English version of every post underneath the German part. Feel free to correct little mistakes (and trustingly asked to correct huge ones!) or to ask me for a translation of any specific post of the past, I’ll happily oblige! 😉

So, here we go:

It’s really not that easy to come back to German March after a long weekend in Singapore with 32 degrees, palm trees and lots of naked skin! But the early spring awakening makes saying goodbye (rather: see you soon!) again to Birkenstocks and the Bikini for another few weeks much easier, and it definitely helps chase off some of the dark thoughts that tend to follow especially light days.

So I am more than happy to pair my happy-it’s-spring with my happy-about-my-short-hair face and some spring colors. You’ve seen the cotton candy pink coat before here, the neon long sleeve is from COS and the leather pants are a real staple piece, whatever brand they’re from (in this case: Zara). So are the Nike Roshe Run sneakers I bought back in Seattle about a year ago after one of the best breakfasts I’d ever had. And now I’m off to enjoy the good side of German March!
